ABOUT: Kyle Mosher is a multidisciplinary artist  currently residing in Charlotte, NC. He is influenced by a range of artists including: Picasso, Twombly, Rauschenberg, Eduardo Recife (Misprinted Type) and the Synthetic Cubism movement. Aesthetically, he is influenced by paper, texture, loose lines and mixed media. In terms of art periods, the synthetic cubism movement is his biggest inspiration. His art falls in the intersection where contemporary culture, music and aesthetics meet traditional fine-art techniques and ideas. It is a stylized collaboration of juxtaposing ideas, teachings, and movements. He works in fine arts media as well as commercial media. His signature style brings together a mix of paper and hand painted acrylic to create art in both analog and digital mediums.

“Art is revolution. It's been the catalyst and at the heart of all great revolutions whether it be flyers, pamphlets, posters, clothing, paintings, or giant murals in the middle of the city.

I heard a lot of push back when the BLM mural was made specifically along the lines of, ‘How does this change things’ and my pushback is, art is a mirror that reflects society. Inherently it's always going to be a vehicle to bring awareness and it should always make people feel something. Just by creating it, people were talking and that's how change starts. It was extremely polarizing and that's exactly what good art should be. “

He has been featured in/worked with: Forbes Magazine, The NY Times, The Wall Street Journal, American Illustration, HBO, Karmaloop, High Snobiety, Mountain Dew's Green Label, Complex, and more.
